Zeekr Set to Launch 4-Seat Variant of Zeekr 009 MPV as Its 6th Model on April 19.
Zeekr, the electric vehicle (EV) subsidiary of Geely Holding Group, is gearing up to unveil a new variant of its Zeekr 009 MPV targeted at the premium EV market.
The highly anticipated launch of the Zeekr 009 Guanghui (Zeekr 009光辉), scheduled for April 19 at 8 pm Beijing Time, marks Zeekr’s sixth model. This underscores its significance compared to typical new variants.
Currently, Zeekr boasts four models in its lineup — Zeekr 001, Zeekr 007, Zeekr X, and Zeekr 009 (the latter being a six-seater). Zeekr 001 even features a supercar variant known as the Zeekr 001 FR.
On March 22, Zeekr announced its fifth model, the Zeekr Mix, designed to revolutionize family mobility lifestyles. The launch date of the Zeekr Mix, recently listed in China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) catalog, is pending.
The Zeekr 009, originally launched on November 1, 2022, as Zeekr’s second model following the Zeekr 001, commenced deliveries in February 2023. A refreshed version of the Zeekr 009 was introduced on January 15, now available in two trims starting at RMB 500,000 ($69,150).
For the upcoming Zeekr 009 Guanghui model, Zeekr has designed two RMB 500,000 seats, each equipped with distinct features, including a prominent rear space with a large screen.
In March, Zeekr achieved remarkable delivery figures, totaling 13,012 vehicles. Notably, the Zeekr 001 accounted for 7,503 deliveries, with the Zeekr 009 contributing 488 units, according to CnEVPost data.
