BYD Fang Cheng Bao Unveils Bao 8 SUV and Two Concept Cars Ahead of Beijing Auto Show.
BYD’s Fang Cheng Bao has introduced the new Bao 8 crossover SUV along with two concept cars, the Super 3 SUV and Super 9 supercar, at its spring launch event in Shenzhen. These models will be showcased at the upcoming 2024 Beijing Auto Show.
Fang Cheng Bao, the personalized sub-brand of BYD (OTCMKTS: BYDDY), revealed its latest lineup expansion, including the Bao 8 SUV derived from the previously unveiled Super 8 concept. The brand also introduced the Super 3 SUV concept and the Super 9 supercar concept, demonstrating innovative designs and futuristic concepts.
The Bao 5 off-road SUV, launched in November 2023, has seen significant success with nearly 20,000 deliveries to date, highlighting the brand’s growing presence in the market.
Fang Cheng Bao’s focus on premium offerings is part of BYD’s strategy to expand sales and profitability in the automotive sector. BYD aims for over 3.63 million vehicle sales in 2024, representing more than a 20% increase from the previous year.
The unveiling of these new models underscores BYD’s commitment to innovation and advancement in the electric vehicle industry, with a strong presence anticipated at the upcoming Beijing Auto Show.
