Xpeng employs cutting-edge technology in the manufacturing process, utilizing large integrated die-casting machines to construct the front and rear bodies of the X9. The company’s Guangzhou plant is equipped with a 7,000-ton die-casting machine and a 12,000-ton die-casting machine, and a new 16,000-ton die casting machine is set to come into service in mid-January.

This integrated approach enhances space utilization and body strength for the X9, achieving three times the torsional stiffness of a conventional body, up to 46,000 Nm/deg, while simultaneously reducing body weight by 19% compared to conventional structures.

As Xpeng prepares for the X9’s official launch, it aims to establish itself as a key player in the competitive electric vehicle market, showcasing innovation, performance, and sustainability. Keep an eye on Xpeng’s developments as it takes the next step in shaping the future of electric mobility.
