Notably, Xiaomi’s EV will reach customers not only in Beijing but also in 28 cities across China, starting from tomorrow. Lei expressed his excitement, stating, “After 3 years of waiting, we can finally hand over our brainchild to users!”

The SU7 was officially unveiled on March 28, with customer orders opening the same day. The pricing for the three variants of SU7 ranges from RMB 215,900 to RMB 299,900. Customized SU7 deliveries are scheduled to begin at the end of April for standard and Max versions and at the end of May for the Pro version.

Additionally, Xiaomi is offering a Founders Edition, limited to 5,000 units, with deliveries set to commence on April 3. The response to SU7 has been overwhelming, with thousands of firm orders secured within minutes of the order opening.

It’s noteworthy that Xiaomi’s order count includes refundable deposits within 7 days, distinguishing its approach from other EV manufacturers. As of early April 2, the SU7 has garnered 40,000 locked-in orders, signaling a promising start for Xiaomi in the EV market.
