The M03, marking the debut of Xpeng’s Mona project, features two variants: NHQ7000BEVLA and NHQ7000BEVLB. Sporting Xpeng’s emblematic design elements, the M03 boasts dimensions of 4,780 mm in length, 1,896 mm in width, and 1,445 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,815 mm.

Both variants come equipped with single motors delivering peak powers of 140 kW and 160 kW, sourced from Inovance Automotive and Physis Technology. Notably, like Nio’s Onvo L60, the M03 relies on lithium iron phosphate batteries sourced from BYD’s battery division, FinDreams Battery.

With weights ranging from 1,631 kg to 1,739 kg, the M03 variants promise a top speed of 155 km/h. Xpeng has outlined plans to launch the Mona brand in 2024, with the first model targeting the A-class electric vehicle market.

While Xpeng’s Chairman and CEO, He Xiaopeng, has indicated a pricing strategy between RMB 100,000 to RMB 150,000, the company has yet to announce an official unveiling date, despite hints from recent events and image releases.
